LEADERSHIP TREK® CORPORATION
(LTREK®)
Leadership Trek® Corporation (LTrek®) is a leadership
development company founded in Waco, TX. Our mission is “to
inspire, challenge and equip leaders to achieve great
heights.” We provide innovative leadership development
solutions to meet executive leadership development needs
through consulting, training, leadership retreats and
motivational speaking. Our areas of focus include:
Virtuous Leadership, Servant Leadership and Effective
Collaboration.

extension of our mission, we launched LTrek Youth in 2006.

OUR
PHILOSOPHY
Leadership
Trek® is both our philosophy and our signature training
format. We believe in continual learning. Leadership
development is a life long endeavor, a journey or a “trek”
requiring pacing and endurance, rather than the completion
of a training course. We firmly believe it is essential not
just to develop leaders, but specifically to develop
virtuous leaders.

COMMUNITY SERVICE
Through the
Waco I.S.D. Adopt-A-School program, LTrek® adopted G.W.
Carver Academy, a middle school in Waco, Texas. Leadership
Trek® was awarded a “Golden Apple Award” by Waco I.S.D. and
the Greater Waco Chamber of Commerce in 2005 for the Peer
Mediation Program it initiated and maintains at Carver. In
2008 it was awarded “Outstanding Partnership” among city
business partnerships for the leadership development program
it developed and implemented for Carver students, which is
based off of LTrek Everest™, one of LTrek’s Seven Leadership
Summits. All students who enter Carver are on a “Leadership
Trek” and meet with LTrek® trainers as sixth, seventh and
eighth graders learning core leadership competencies through
games and activities.

We partner
with world-class mountaineers and adventurers, which we call
our LTrek Adventurers™, to provide spectacular insights and
lessons from the mountains and grueling environments across
the world from some of the World’s most determined,
inspirational and accomplished goal-setters.

SEVEN LEADERSHIP SUMMITS™
LTrek’s
signature leadership development programs are called the
Seven Leadership Summits™. LTrek’s executive programs
provide executive teams a proactive approach to virtuous
leadership in the workplace. Through assessment and LTrek
training programs, teams tackle one virtue at a time:
Justice, hope, love, faith, courage, etc.

LTrek’s Youth
Seven Leadership Summits are comprehensive leadership
adventures that correlate with a highest mountain on one of
the seven continents, for example Mt. Everest, Mt.
Kilimanjaro, Mt. McKinley, Aconcagua, Mt. Elbrus, etc.

LEADERSHIP VIRTUES
The Seven Leadership Summits™, both for the executive and
youth programs, include focus on a different classic
leadership virtue (i.e. Courage, Justice, Love, Temperance,
Hope, etc.) which date back 2000 years, explored by noted
philosophers such as Aristotle. For example, LTrek Everest™
represents “courage” and LTrek Kilimanjaro™ focuses on
“justice.” During LTrek Kilimanjaro, participants consider
the importance of “just” decision making, following rules, not cutting corners,
valuing people equally, and they explore the meaning of
“fairness,” a very subjective word.

YOUTH™
We are committed to developing virtuous leaders
with skills essential for both personal and professional
success. We seek to inspire youth through our innovative
training concept introducing them to world class
mountaineers and trekkers, otherwise known as LTrek
Adventurers™. We challenge students through interactive
training programs, experiential learning activities and
games.
