ACONCAGUA
The path of integrity
demands discipline.
One
of the
LTrek®
signature Seven Leadership Summits™, LTrek Aconcagua™,
is a exceptionally innovative leadership development
program in which your amazing venue becomes the mountain
students must overcome! Students play leadership and
character development games and activities while
virtually tackling the highest peak in South America,
which sits among the Andes Mountains at approximately
22,841 feet above sea level. LTrek Aconcagua™
activities are linked to the camps along the path to the
peak of Mt. Aconcagua.
Just as each of LTrek’s Seven Leadership Summits™ explores a
different leadership virtue dating back 2000 years to
Aristotle, LTrek Aconcagua™ focuses on the virtue of
“temperance.” Students explore how the path of
integrity demands discipline. They consider how leaders
demonstrate self-control and act in moderation.
Participants explore issues of self-indulgence and
myopic vision as compared to exercising restraint and
balance.
Through analogy and an interactive presentation,
students learn specifically about the importance of
listening, self-control and home/school/life balance.
All campers receive a certificate of completion upon
summiting LTrek Aconcagua™, a magnificent leadership
adventure!
